June Newsletter

Hi Everyone!

I hope June is treating you well so far!!! My day and a half has been good :-). Last night's show at Jammin' Java, with Katie Chambers on cello, was most excellent. Looking forward to having her on gigs in the future, including at IOTA later this month!

The fall U.S. tour is really starting to fill out. Check the shows schedule to see what is booked so far, and contact bridget@overtimerecords.com to lobby for a tour stop in your area.

On to the rest of the shows for June, including this Thursday's Modern Underground at Ebenezers. Some notes from the press release about the two New York based songwriters I'll be hosting:
Laura Meyer is a globe-trekking folk rock poet. At 26 years old she has performed over 300 independent shows throughout the United States and Europe, including performances at the Telluride Bluegrass and Rocky Mountain Folks Festivals.
Rachel Platten is a New York City singer-songwriter who has shared the stage and toured with such acts as The Strokes, Lady Gaga, Marc Ford, Rachael Yamagata, Susan Tedeschi and The Toots & The Maytals.. Rachel’s self-titled, debut EP is piano-driven soul-pop (saturated with distorted trombones and ambient synths). “She is breathtaking and brilliant.” – Boston Globe
Hope to see you out!
