"One More For the Road" & Live at The Living Room in New York City!

It's hard to believe we are two months into 2010...and 2010 still feels weird to say, right? Weird or not, it's been a great start so far! I've spent most of it on the road. For the past 6 weeks, my musical buddy Caleb Hawley and I have been roaming around the US in his Subaru, with the best dog in the world, the true star of the show, Fargo.

Today, I am in Grand Rapids, Michigan, one of many cities I had never been to until recently. It's cold here, much like the rest of the country. As the snow falls and seasons change I find myself thinking of all the great things I've seen via the highway. From Manhattan to Manhattan (Kansas that is), it's been a blast! I met a musical idol in Philly, saw a ton of family and friends, threw down in Chicago..deep dish style, I even ate donkey..(seriously, it's as gross as it sounds!). Thanks to all of you that helped make it a success. Thanks for coming out to a show or telling someone to come to a show. Special thanks to those who opened their homes to us, fed us, basically putting up with two dudes and a dog.....you rock! I just can't thank you enough.

The tour ends tomorrow and I am excited to return to my new home in Boston next week. Spring time is coming, not soon enough, even for you Floridians I suppose! There are some cool things happening soon. I have a big show at The Living Room next Saturday March 6th at 8 PM. If you are in the NYC area, or know someone that is, PLEASE COME! I'm also playing a big show in Somerville, Mass. at Johnny D's on March 9th.

I hope the winter is treating you all well. I have been moved by my travels and am excited about preparing for a new record. I have a lot of work to do and am looking forward to it! I will keep you posted. Stay warm!-RW
