The Fuse News 'Triumph I Victory I Success'

Triumph in Holland - Maiden Tour March 2010

The Fuse played their first overseas shows in Holland at the end of March. We released our first album, 'Freedom Of The City' to coincide with the tour.

We printed 100 copies and sold all of them - there was even an altercation at the final show when we were running out. Fortunately, we were able to bring in copies of our previous EP to de-fuse the situation.

All in all Holland was a great event for the band, and we have been invited back. Watch this space for August dates which will include a performance supporting Grammy Winning US band Living Colour at the world famous Paradiso in Amsterdam.

Freedom Of The City is available on iTunes, or contact the band to reserve a copy of the next CD run.

Victory in Emergenza Round 2

Over 30 die hard fans turned out to see The Fuse cruise to victory in round two of the Emergenza Festival Battle of The Bands on Monday 12th April. Massive thanks to all those who showed, we really appreciate your effort.

The Semi-Finals take place at Dingwalls, Middle Yard, Camden on Thursday 3rd June at 20.30.

The mechanics of this competition mean that the band with the most support goes on to win, so please put that date in your diaries and come along if at all possible.

First prize is main stage at the Emergenza Festival playing to 30k people.

Success as Myspace Plays Sail Past 150k

Plays on the myspace page have been ticking over very nicely, with Hard To Take, Phantom, and Everybody Knows The Way all around 20k plays each.

Many thanks to Rob Saunders at Deuce Management and Promotion - we feel the exposure we've gained through our A-Listing on The Deuce Show may well have helped on this one.

Next Show - Underbelly, 30th April

Paul Daly's club is building a reputation as having the best sound system in London - come and hear The Fuse make the most of it next Friday evening. We'll take the stage at 20.45 sharp.

Early Bird List gives you entrance for 6 pounds before 8pm - just enough time to have a couple of drinks before the show starts.

That's all for now folks!
