CHRIS FORTIER has been a central figure in the development of Electronic Dance music in the United States. From the time he founded what the International Dance Music Awards call the Best Record Pool (2005 and 2006) where he was intrumental to the launch of the careers of such DJs like Steve Porter, etc, to the time he toured all of Europe with John Digweed during the late 90's, and when he decided to move to NY and became co-resident of Twilo with Dave Seaman, CHRIS FORTIER is a man that demands nothing but respect from everybody in the Dance music scene for genuinely pushing the the state of EDM forward. Proof of this can be found on his recent triple CD compilation Balance and his recent solo productions under the 40oz moniker and his stellar debut artist album As Long As The Moment Exits. The Balance 007 CD genuinely offers something exciting and underground to the current stale compilation market. Boasting tracks from across the musical spectrum like David Gilmour Girls, Global Communication and Floppy Sounds through to Slam, Matthew Jonson, Rabbit in the Moon and Bent. It is little wonder the CD was name checked for compilation of the year by numerous international press publications. Under his 40oz production guise, CHRIS FORTIER has released several EPs that musically could fit comfortably on labels such as Cocoon, Kompakt or Get Physical. Recent remixes of Alexi Delano, Joshua Collins, Patrick Zigon, Floppy Sounds, Alland Byallo, DJ Yellow and John Selway, show CHRIS FORTIER’s genre defying sound at it’s underground best. Taking this a step further, his recent artist album was released to countless plaudits and impeccable praise. Followed by the remix version of the album saw CHRIS FORTIER work alongside the likes of Bruno Pronsato, Pheek, Ed Davenport, Mark Broom, Someone Else, Maetrik and Joel Mull. After 20 years of his career, CHRIS FORTIER is still never satisfied with status quo, and continues to press and push his productions and DJ sets like no one else. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On FRIDAY, MAY 21, INCOGNITO Global proudly presents the CLOSING PARTY for it's month-long 3rd Year ANNIVERSARY Celebration with double headliners MARTIN EYERER (Kling Klong Label Head, Session Deluxe Label Head, Germany) and DJUMA SOUNDSYSTEM (Most Sold Track at Beatport, Get Physical, Denmark). INCOGNITO was launched 3 years ago at the gothic hotspot Boardner's. We had a short stint at Club Play then moved to our current home at King King Hollywood since January of 2008, where we have delivered the most consistent and luckily at times, the biggest nights of King King during these recent times. In terms of bookings, we have always attempted to live up to our mission of "Where Amazing Cutting-Edge Dance Music Happens" and we always push the envelope musically, from having Techno with Oliver Huntemann or John Selway, to Deep House with Marshall Jefferson or Eric Kupper, to eclectic DJs like James Holden and Larry Tee. We have strived to open minds by usually bringing in DJs in their 1st LA Appearance and do not constrain ourselves to the usual LA bookings, and so far, it has worked with the loyal INCOGNITO Community growing bigger each 1st and 3rd Fridays when we throw our all-out parties. And on this night, we celebrate 3 years of trying our best with another line-up can only be described as amazing and cutting edge. MARTIN EYERER, aka Headhunter, Licht Und Kraft, Mart Van Straaten, Royal Flash, Spencer & Davis, is a true musician and is he is signed up to Systematic, Audiomatique, Great Stuff, Kickboxer and on English big names like Renaissance or i/o records, on top of being the label head of Session Deluxe and Kling Klong, where he has released artists like Koletzki, Namito, Oliver Klein, Robert Babicz and more. His high-end studio meets the highest requirements and has become an interdisciplinary interface for mastering (whether it is Hip-Hop, Pop or Electronic) and he is also co-producing several mainstream acts (Eyerer e.g.became a gold record in UK). On top of all this, the Tech-House Posse around him like Gui Boratto, Oliver Koletzki, Toni Rios, Stephan Hinz, Namito, Chopstick, Oliver Klein or Robert Babicz come to ‘his house’ to jam. He is an innovator and leader of the groovy tech house scene, and INCOGNITO is proud to deliver his Exclusive 1st LA Appearance on this special night. DJUMA SOUNDSYSTEM is a Scandinavian Duo composed of Lars Bjarno Jensen & Mikkas Skulstad. For the EDM World, they became famous out of nowhere by producing the modern classic and the best selling track on Beatport ever "Les Djinns". Since then, they have never looked back and have come out with hits like "Zillion Lights (Get Physical)", "This Sound (Brut)", "Jaded (Toolroom)", "Bipolar (Rebirth) and more, as well as remixing for Kaskade, Antix, Def Jagur, Philip Cohen Solal (Gotan Project). Or in other words, their music continues to shine fiercely on dancefloors all over the globe, with no signs of dropping off.
